A Tapestry of Colors, Sounds and Smiles

Step into the vibrant world of Pari Bazaar, a heritage festival in Bhopal, where tradition and empowerment intertwine. As you navigate through the bustling crowd, your senses are captivated by a symphony of traditional music, exquisite textiles, sparkling jewellery, and intricate artwork, embodying the unique spirit of this marketplace. Celebrating Female Resilience and Creativity Pari Bazaar is more than a marketplace; it's a tribute to female resilience and creativity. Inspired by Nawab Sultan Jahan Begum, Bhopal's last female ruler, this bazaar embodies her vision of women's participation in commerce and trade, defying societal norms and nurturing economic independence, all while preserving the Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb of Bhopal. Empowering Women through Entrepreneurship The legacy of Nawab Sultan Jahan Begum thrives through the Begums of Bhopal club, fostering a haven for underprivileged working women to showcase their talents and achieve economic empowerment. This marketplace is a testament to transformation, where self-doubt evolves into confidence and hidden talents blossom into entrepreneurial success. Stories of Resilience Beyond the Bazaar Pari Bazaar goes beyond commerce; it's a narrative of resilience and perseverance. Each handcrafted product tells a story of overcoming adversity and surpassing limitations. The vendors, artists, entrepreneurs, and mothers infuse their dreams and aspirations into every creation. The bazaar offers a diverse range of trendy and traditional clothing, accessories, organic goods, and handmade products across 50-60 stalls, showcasing the inclusivity and diversity of the festival. RANG - E - BAGH: A Cultural Kaleidoscope This season, Pari Bazaar celebrates the theme 'RANG E BAGH: The Kaleidoscope of Bhopali Culture.' focusing on the renowned Bagh Printing Technique of Madhya Pradesh. Also, in alignment with the central government's 'Swachta Hi Sewa' mission, the event emphasizes the 3Rs of waste management: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, striving towards a Single Use Plastic Free, Zero Waste, and Kachra Mukt Bhopal. These initiatives mark a step towards global recognition for Pari Bazaar. A Cultural Extravaganza Over four days, Pari Bazaar becomes a stage for Bhopal's rich cultural heritage, attracting around 30,000 visitors. The festival features a variety of cultural activities, including Mushairas, Batolebazi, Charbait, talk shows, book reviews, Daastangoi, Patyebazi performances, Sufi music, cultural dances, fashion shows, and open mic sessions, drawing participation from revered artists, authors, and writers. The festival actively involves Self-Help Groups (SHGs), NGOs, local artisans, startups, and entrepreneurs. It strengthens community ties and fosters inclusivity, supported by organizations like HSVN, NABARD, Bhopal Municipal Corporation and Madhya Pradesh Tourism (MPT).
