The Heritage Festival
Pari Bazaar
Pari Bazaar Bhopal, originally India's sole women's market, stands as a beacon of women's empowerment and a significant cultural institution. Established in 19th-century colonial India by Begum Sultan Jahan, this market symbolised strength and resilience. To honour the past glory and 150 years of legacy, the Begums of Bhopal initiated Pari Bazaar as a heritage festival.
Registered with the same mission, it aims to revive the rich cultural heritage while actively engaging in ethical and social campaigns and upholding the Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb of Bhopal. Beyond its cultural significance, Pari Bazaar is a platform for budding talents to showcase their creativity and contribute to women's empowerment.
Begums' Pari Bazaar's efforts have created a truly exciting and enriching experience, particularly after the revival of the Ladies Club. Following successful online events with rave reviews and substantial traction, we proudly hosted PARI BAZAAR - SEASON 1 in February 2021, SEASON 2 in December 2021, and SEASON 3 in December 2022 at Kamla Park, Bhopal. This location, symbolic of womanhood, pays tribute to Bhopal's first female ruler, Rani Kamlapati.
As we gear up for the grand event of its 5th season, we invite you to join us at Pari Bazaar - The Heritage Festival at Gauhar Mahal. Be a part of this cultural celebration that not only honours the historical legacy of Bhopal but also provides a platform for contemporary talent and women's empowerment.

Annual Event
Jashn - E - Feerozi
Celebrating the Eid festival with joy and togetherness and making summers pleasant with the coolness of blue hues, every year begums organise the Eid Milan Mehfil to spread love and laughter through Jashn - e - Feerozi.
There are exciting programmes to entertain the begums and their guests. Begums participate in traditional attire in any hues of Blue with matching accessories. There is an open Mic for all participants to share their talent and many surprise activities.

Heritage Car Rally
Begums Of Bhopal Club was started in December 2019 with a heritage drive to pay tribute to the beautiful monuments built by the Begums. The members drive around Bhopal to explore, discover and celebrate the pioneering women of the past in a unique way that connects and empowers Urban and Rural Women.
Every year, the club organises a heritage car rally in association with RAAG BHOPALI intending to create awareness about preserving beautiful heritage structures furthermore reviving the old customs and traditions amongst the people of Bhopal. It also helps in familiarising the Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb in Bhopalies. It is a 20 kms adventure drive with a treasure hunt sort of games, winners and prizes.

Jashn-E-Gulabi
Every year Begums celebrate Diwali festival and welcome the winter season in the hues of pinks in Jashn - e - Gulabi, The Diwali Milan Samaroh is organised to spread love, happiness, joy and togetherness.

Jashn-E-Haryali
Amidst the captivating monsoon season, the begums joyously celebrate nature and immerse themselves in the lush greenery of Jash-E-Hariyali. Dressed in vibrant green garments, the begums enthusiastically engage in plantation drives, diligently spreading awareness and emphasising the profound importance of trees in our environment. They also recount the illustrious history of Jashn-e-Hariyali, meticulously organised by the Begum Sultaan Jahan, thus keeping the glorious past of Bhopal alive in their celebrations.
Monthly Event
Begums Mehfil
Begums' Mehfil is our monthly fun and activity meetup where the members get together and spend a few hours of fun, food and laughter. On this day, our members from different backgrounds, life experiences and professions come to pursue their interests together, meet with friends or just catch their breath between their busy schedules.
The main emphasis of Mehfil is to entertain and encourage our members to come out, explore and indulge in the culture of Bhopal while engaging them in enlivening discussion, inspiring them with the best possibilities to achieve their dreams and making friends for life.
To celebrate the various seasons, we celebrate different themed days as our esteemed begums did in the past, Jashn-e-Gulabi, Jashn-e-Haryali and Jashn-e-Firozi. We also celebrate our national days and various festivals across cultures in India in our Mehfil meetups. Many other online and offline activities are conducted in these meets.
Steeped in history, The Ladies Club has been supporting Bhopali women to achieve their ambitions for more than a hundred years now.
