The Heritage Festival
Pari Bazaar Bhopal was the only women's market in India, a symbol of women empowerment and a prominent Bagh, was established in 19th century colonial India by Begum Sultan Jahan. To continue the past glory and 150 years old legacy and tradition, Begums of Bhopal started Pari Bazaar, a heritage festival. It is the registered body with the same motive and an endeavour to revive the legacy and cultural heritage supported by various ethical and social campaigns while maintaining the Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb of Bhopal. It also provides a strong platform for budding talents to showcase their creativity and empower women.
Begums' Pari Bazaar strived to develop the most exciting and wonderful experience post the Ladies Club's revival. After a couple of successful online events, where we got the most amazing reviews and lots of traction, we organised PARI BAZAAR - SEASON 1 in February 2021 and SEASON 2 in December 2021 at Kamla Park, Bhopal, a symbol of womanhood, to pay tribute to Bhopal's first women ruler, Rani Kamlapati.
